Program #7 - Day Camp (All Female Hockey Weekend)

Duration: The 2008 Summer Hockey School All Female Weekend #1 & #2 is an all day program. The focus of each on-ice session is skill development: skating, shooting, passing, stick handling and individual tactics will be the center of all sessions. Challenging drills and practices will be provided for the females. Each session will include scrimmage time so players can continue practicing game situations.

There will be a variety of off-ice activities throughout the weekend, as well as an exposure to training techniques and skill work off the ice. We want to educate the females on various hockey topics during classroom sessions. For example, we hear this often: "I cannot shoot very hard and my accuracy is very poor". These are some of the things we would explain in the classroom.
Schedule: Schedule and times will be posted at the beginning of July 2008.
